Hubby and neighbors loved them even though I undercooked them. Had them in the oven for 14 minutes. That would have been long enough if I had rolled them out thinner. Next time will make pretzel sticks so I don't have to cook them so long.

Just made these and they are delicious. I used part whole wheat flower and sprinkled parmesan cheese on some and cinnamon sugar on others. Yum!

These were great, I don't own a big mixer so I just used my bread machine set on dough; however, I took the dough out around 15 minutes into the cycle. I also brushed them with butter after baking and sprinkled with sesame seeds or dried minced garlic in addition to the salt. MMMMMMM.

I never made these before, and this recipe is easy to follow and yields great results. My husband really enjoyed these, and his brother told me they tasted like Auntie Anne's. Will make frequently!

These were the best soft pretzels ever.....i was a little hestitant to try them at first because when I have made soft pretzles in the past they tasted like bread dough, but not these!!! Theses beat all the local pretzel factories in my area, even better than Philly soft pretzels.

I just watched the episode on Youtube and although it's a bit confusing he does not bake before boiling. He bakes a batch, shows it to be a failure and then starts a new batch, boiling those first. Easy to miss.

My kids wanted soft pretzels at the mall and I was shocked to see the price!!! $3.00 for a pretzel! I don't think so...I told them I'd make them at home. They didn't let me forget! I made them as soon as we got home. The kids said they were way better then any mall pretzel. The great thing is I think it cost about $2.00 to make them and the recipe makes 8 pretzels.

I'm not a good cook by far but after watching Alton Brown do this on his show I decided to give it a shot. It was easy, the steps were simple and the results were very good. These refrigerate well.
