The dip was easy and full of flavor. Very simple recipe to follow. I did make everything on the stove top instead of microwave. After i drained the spinach and artichokes I returned it to the stove to dry out a little more water and then added eveyrthing else. It was yummy.

truth is, you can't go wrong with mayo, sour cream and cream cheese, but alton got this one just right! this dip is part of the reason people have started calling me Martha Stewart.

I have look a long time for a flavorful yet easy artichoke dip...the kind you find in restuarants. This one is the best!! It contains ingredients I already have stock in my pantry or fridge. Thank you Alton!!

I have made this a several times. It is a great short recipe for spinah-artichoke dip. The 1st time it was good but not great. The 2nd time, I added a few dashes of tobasco sauce. It made all the differnce in the World. This is now a staple in my entertaining. Goes great if you hollow out a large Hawaiin bread & serve it in that as a bowl...*Note, bring extra bread.

This is an excellent recipe out the gate, but I find using fresh garlic, a sprinkling of parmesan on top and broiling it makes it even better. Be careful! Once you make this, everyone will be asking you to make it again! My freezer is now always stocked with at least a bag each of spinach and artichokes :

This is absolutely the best Spinach Artichoke Dip I've found. Every party I've taken this to, it has been a hit. Never any leftovers. I like to make a larger batch for parties so I add more sour cream, mayo and cheese. I also use the pre-marinated artichokes. This really gives an added flavor that makes it so much better. I also add a at least a tablespoon of the pepper flakes. Trust me...add more pepper and this dip will stand out.

It's my new speciality! Whenever I get invited to parties I am always asked to bring my "special dip". :
