Yum! I love pancakes and this recipe is delicious. I like the instant recipe as I have a container with my premix which is better than any box and just as convenient.

I always thought my pancakes were pretty good but my husband never loved them. He suggested I try this recipe based on a friend's recommendation. Very easy to make and received a thumbs up from all three of my kids but also from my biggest critic, my husband.

Very tasty and rave reviews for how light and fluffy they are! Made up a batch of the flour. Used what I wanted, put the remainder in an airtight container and put it in the freezer for future use.

    BEST. PANCAKE. EVER.
This recipe is so easy and makes amazing pancakes. They were light and fluffy and delicious, especially with blueberries. The mix did not take long to make and the batter came together very quickly. I think this recipe is as close to foolproof as you can get. My husband says I should never use store-bought mix again.

I think this is the only recipe of Alton's I've ever made that was easy and delicious. I didn't think they were a lot of work at all. But of course we made the mix a few days ago, and the pancakes this morning. They were soft and flufffy and had tasted great. I didn't buy store bought pancake mix in the first place, but now I definitely won't.

This was a lot of work for me and I'll tell you why: I tried to split the recipe in half. Half the amount of dry ingredients and half the amount of wet. Take my word for it and just follow the recipe the way it is. Don't get smart and mathematical about it the first time around. If you're a novice like I am, you'll thank me for this advice. And yes, it's worth the trouble. No shortcuts please. Separate the white from the yellow. Don't ask why. Just do it. You'll be glad you did. The pancakes are divine. Even if you don't like pancakes, you'll love these!!!
