    I tried it too and it was delicious!! My husband said, "you know these taste like Aunt Jemima" I let him in on the secret that these were buttermilk pancakes from scratch! I made my own syrup using the Neeley's recipe. I can not find buttermilk here in the Dominican Republic so I made my own (1 tblspn of vinegar to 1 cup of milk. Absolutely delish!!! Definitely a keeper.

    I have used this recipe four times so far and it works so well. This is the best pancake mix for making delicious buttermilk pancakes. You will not find a better recipe any where, these taste better than what your find at your local pancake restaurant too and I been in the restaurant business for 15 years.

    I'm not a big pancake eater, but these are amazing. I add a little extra buttermilk (maybe 1/4 cup, but these are always a big hit in our house.

    the batter was perfect and I added in strawberries instead of blueberries and they were yummmmy. better than storebought instant pancakes. lovee love lovee alton brown !

    Outstanding.I did with vegan way and added the fruits and some walnuts as instructed.They turned out so well and no blender to clean!!

    Amazing. I had to use lactose-free milk instead of buttermilk and added a little bit more so the batter was about the consistency of cake batter. The pancakes were very fluffy and wonderful!
