I just discovered noodle kugels and wavered on this recipe or Ina's. This was a delicious hit! What a fabulous, creamy, and subtly sweet dessert. I stuck to tradition and used 8 ounces of egg noodles. The apricots were particularly good. Best served warm.

Great recipe! Fed it to my family with Thanksgiving, everybody loved it. The most important critics were my 3-year-old niece and nephew. Their unanimous verdict: "Yummy!"

Yummy! I omitted the apricots and used a small can of crushed pineapple, drained. So good!

Oh, yeah, does this sound great or what. Last night, we sat down, watched Good Eats and I got a great lasagna recipe. But that wasn't enough. My wife and son who also watch started begging for the Noodle Kugel desert, so fixing it now. Goes together easy, cooks to directions, and I snuck a bit while waiting for them to get home and have dinner. Delicious.
