i love them! they kind of taste like nachos. i use a recipes worth of corn tortilla mix instead of breaking down all those tortillas.

Just got done eating mine, followed the recipe to the letter as i always do on the first time making it. The recipe is quick, very simple, and very good. This recipe you can do almost anything you want with, i plan on making several variations of the recipe for different types of meals. Alton Brown wins again with this one.

To help lower the fat content I baked mine. I added a couple tablespoons of flour, couple teaspoons of baking powder, a small amount of very finely chopped cheese and put the paste in greased mini muffin pans for about 15-20 min in a 375 degree oven so that they turned out a like little savory muffins. They were great.

My daughter and I had a blast making these and they were gobbled up fast! You can take out the spicey stuff and add nutmeg and or cinimon and roll in sugar. They are pretty good that way too! A lot easier to make than the recipe says. Very forgiving of substitute ingrediants

I can't have gluten and thought I'd give this recipe a try. It was so easy and so good. After cooking, I cut the balls in half and topped with a mixture of shredded chicken, mayo, and cheese. There are so many possibilities, I'm thinking of shaping into mini muffin tins and filling with whatever. Alton, you're the best and a great teacher!!!!

I thought it was fairly good, but a little lacking in flavor. This is just personal preference but consider adding more jalapenos and using a different type of tortilla.
