This was so easy and such a good idea to fold the meat in half. You get flavor with every bite. We made traditional "sliders" for the men, and gourmet turkey burgers (cheeses and "stuff" for the women at our labor day part! Great, great idea.. !!! Kids liked them too!

You can make these burgers in less than 10 minutes, and they are still excellent! Quick, easy and tasty! Gotta love it!

I really had misgivings entering "man territory" but I had my husband by my side. These burgers were great and reminded me of the burgers from my youth. Alton was right about preparing the rolls to prevent seepage.

Alton always comes up with the most creative ideas! I live in Michigan so I've had my share of true "White Castle" burgers, but this recipe is so good I don't have to bother sitting in the drive thru!! To those reviewers who worried about the buns getting soggy, that's part of the charm of the real deal. Around here, people call them "sliders" and they are perceived to be really greasy, but it's the slightly soggy bun that makes them slide down, not grease.

Easy to make and delicious. Seasonings on the inside makes all the difference!
