This is the best chocolate pie I've ever had. Texture, consistency, taste, everything is amazing about this pie.
I added good quality dark rum instead of coffee liquor (didn't have any handy and I also added some roasted sliced almonds to the mixture and it came out great.

I take this to potlucks all the time and have gotten people to eat this who refuse to eat tofu. (Of course I tell them after the fact. I have even been told that if it wasn't so good, my life would be in danger for feeding them tofu. It is very rich, but oh so good.

This pie just BLOWS any other chocolate pie I've ever had out of the water. The fact that it has tofu in it just makes it better, but Truly, I've only ever had ONE person guess that it did have tofu in it, and she kindof knew already. : Thank You, Alton; This pie is in my family recipe book from here on out!

I have made this several times and have wowed people time and again. They never believe that it's made with Tofu and I love fooling people with this recipe:

One of the best pies I've ever tasted! I used dark chocolate chips, Kahlua, and a shortbread crust. Yum-o!

WOW!! No one who tried this pie could find enough good things to say about it. the texture (decadent, the flavor (lucious, and guilt-free (practically. Do they give a Nobel prize for dessert? They should, and Alton should get it!

My husband is lactose intolerant, so I'm always on the lookout for dairy alternatives. This chocolate pie is amazing!! So rich and decadent, you have to cut it into small pieces!! I even served this to my fussy inlaws who would have gagged had they known the pie they were raving about was TOFU!!

This was absolutely wonderful. My family would never guess it was made with tofu! Good quality dark chocolate chips made this perfect.
