YUMMMMM, followed the directions to the T. Have given this recipe to several ladies in my bible study! The second time I made it I used very strong coffee and rum extract, in place of the coffee liqueur, and didn't notice any difference. YuMMMMMMMM.

Alton, you are THE MAN! This was the best pie I have ever had! I am a chocoholic and never thought I would ever say this, but I thought there was a little too much chocolate in it. I’m going to experiment next time with a little less chocolate and maybe some peanut butter chips and Amaretto? LOL, how can that be a bad thing? Love the show and you’re still my hero!

Great Idea. Personally, I found it too rich in sugar. I will be experimenting to cut back on sugar without removing the chocolate. I did sprinkle chopped walnuts on it and will also try with slices of banana after mixing everything in the blender. I may even add some ground flaxseed and blend it into the mix to reduce the sugar and increase the fiber (and probably calories I also used expresso coffee instead of the alcohol version and used maple sugar to replace the sugar content in the coffee liqueur. The added sugar was obviously not needed . I love the tofu part of it as I have a son in law who is lactose intolerant. I also avoided the crust and made it more of a pudding. Note that I also put the chocolate chips directly into the fesh and hotcoffee at low medium and they melted easily and quickly. 5 stars for the chocolate flavour but I am sure I can reduce the sugar content and still make it a greaaatttttt dessert for all.

I made this pie for New Year's 2012 and it was delicious!! Really takes care of the chocolate cravings. I used a graham cracker crust in place of the choc cookie crust, and I added about 1 TBSP of organic flaxseed meal for extra fiber and Omega 3s. Because the tofu is so high in protein I didn't notice spikes in my blood sugar either. Thanks Alton for this great recipe!

OMG! I've died and gone to heaven! This is the BEST dessert I've ever had in my life! Alton, you're my hero. I have IBS and am also lactose-intollerant. Practically all desserts are a huge no-no for me -- until I saw you make this on "Dr. Oz" last week. I rushed right out, got all the ingredients, and whipped it up in all of 5 minutes. I used a soy whipped cream on top. OMG, OMG, OMG! It's the best thing I've ever eaten (and I really hate tofu, so go figure. Best thing of all: the most awesome guilt-free dessert! PLEASE, Alton, more recipes like this -- PLEASE!!!

This recipe will freak out anyone who thinks they don't like Tofu. I'm not a big fan and this is one of the best chocolate pies I have ever had. Super rich dark chocolate flavor. Excellent with some low fat whipped cream.

Fantastic! Especially wonderful for my food allergy family. I add the vegan chocolate chips and the whole thing is moo-less. Thank you Alton Brown!

I loved this recipe! The only thing you want to watch out for is that the chocolate you use takes center stage in this recipe. Do yourself a favor and get good chocolate, it still turns out wonderful using Nestle chips, but if possible, splurge a little. :
