I used very sweet onions. Next time I will choose onions that aren't so sweet or mix them.

This recipe is great! I even make it with low-fat sour cream and low-fat mayo and you would never know the difference. Its always a hit when I serve it.

I liked this recipe but I changed it a little based on some of the other helpful reviews. not so much mayo...lot more onions a bit of garlic and it was a hit

Locally we have a dip and its good called Helluvagood Onion Dip. I tried this AB recipe and wow! Its better that the commercial. I've even tried it with the no-fat sour cream and it is still better than the commercial brands! Hats off to Alton. The Master of Good Eats!
