I was looking for a homemade onion dip recipe because my sister-in-law had recently been diagnosed with celiac disease (allergic to gluten. Anyway, hands-down, this is the best California (onion dip ever!! Everyone loved the flavor, and my sis-in-law was ecstatic she could partake! Super easy and super good. Thanks Alton!

I loved it! It is additive. Could not believe how many people thought the "other onion dip" was the best. Either no taste buds or are used to package foods & all the preservatives that go with it. Haven't made that dip in years for those reasons.

Great recipe. Actually the very first one i ever did from Good Eats. It was a huge hit at the gathering I had made it for. It's even been specifically requested for family gatherings. Thanks again Alton.

Fabulous! Will be my new go to recipe for onion dip. I did add extra onion and tweaked the spices to suit my family's palate, the dip would have been great with no changes at all. Thank you Alton!

This recipe is amazing. I have used it many times and all my friends really love it. Goes great with chips and veggies. You should def. try this.
