This recipe results in a very hard brittle. It is also very hard to know when the sugar has cooked long enough. I would recommend a recipe containing some corn syrup and a small amount of butter.

Very easy and fun. But, move quick, this stuff is nuclear sticky and sets up QUICK! It is delicious and I am using it over christmas to make for friends and work.

I love peanut brittle and this is the best I?ve had lots of peanut and you wont break your teeth on it. The cayenne gives it a nice spice without being overpowering. Move quickly though, the first time I tried it I made peanut lump.
