I made this as a surprise for my husband and it ended up tasting so good I was tempted not to tell him I made it and keep it for myself! This fudge really is delicious and it was super easy to make.

The person who gave this recipe one star could not have possibly followed the directions... perhaps making the mistake of using only one stick of butter instead of two.
This is a TERRIFIC recipe. Tasty, easy, simple. If you like peanut butter fudge, you will like this.

It's really hard to screw this up. That said, I almost did. I highly recommend when considering recipies on this site that you view the videos along with reading through the recipe. It amazes me how many times the videos have saved me... like mistaking the call for 8ozs. of butter for 1 stick while the video clearly calls for 2. I did this in a double boiler on the stove because I did not want to deal with plastic wrap and taking a hot dish in and out of the microwave. I threw in 1 stick of butter and the peanut butter and it blended perfectly in just a few minutes. After I added the powdered sugar & vanilla I knew something was wrong. Realized my mistake after the video so I quickly microwaved another stick of butter, poured it into my crumbled mess and it came together perfectly. Really like the taste and texture, although I would prefer a stronger peanut butter flavor.

First of all, don't pay any attention to the review that is one star and they say that this recipe is a dud. They must have not followed the directions as well as they think they did, because this recipe is very easy and FABULOUS! While it may not be a "true fudge", it is a perfect peanut butter candy and tastes better than most peoples fudge recipes do. It is a must try! Everyone here and at my office LOVED it. YUMMMMMM!!!!!!

Wow, I have never made fudge before... this was so easy! My mom tasted it and immediately told me I had to call my Grandma because her signature dish was peanut butter fudge! I did add one little thing. After the first 2 minutes in the microwave, I added about 6 little chocolate wafers to the butter/ peanut butter mixture. I prefer a little chocolate! Fantastic!

This recipe is fantastic. It disappears long before my chocolate fudge when I make them both. I make this with about 4 hand-fulls of rice crispies mixed in for texture. It's soooo good!
