I created an account just to rate this recipe. I've made peanut butter fudge many times before and this recipe was awful. It didn't taste like peanut butter. It crumbled and was dry. It basically tasted like confectioner sugar held together with some butter. I followed the recipe perfectly and everyone in the house agreed that it wasn't worth making or eating. I don't know what went wrong, but I have never used a microwave to make fudge. I typically love Alton's recipes but this one is a dud.

Good lord, I cannot leave this fudge alone. It's the second AB candy recipe I've made and this one is a cinch compared to his dark salty caramels.

Oh, and did I mention this fudge is EXCELLENT. No hidden tricks here. No fancy tips. Just follow the recipe's directions and you'll have creamy and smooth fudge in no time -- way better than many store-bought varieties.

Easy, even I can make it! I add a little more peanut butter and a little less powder sugar which is why I dont buy fudge at stores.

This recipe is sooooo good. So creamy and melts in your mouth. I didn't think I'd like it but it's amazing and so simple. I like to drizzle chocolate on top. Amazing.
