Even though I've failed it was still amazing! I'm guessing a little too much butter or not enough confectioners sugar. It did not come out cracked or dry, in fact It's just a little too moist, but still removes from the pan. It could be it wasn't cooked long enough as well, I have a different microwave then most so 4 mins I though was way too long. I'm thinking about rolling them into small balls and chocolate dipping them. Overall even though They're too moist they still deserve 5 stars!

I have had such terrible luck with peanut butter fudge. It is one of my alltime favorite sinful treats and whenever I make it, it comes out too chewy, or doesn't set correctly. When I saw this recipe, I figured I would give it a try. When I saw the extremely simply ingredients and instructions, I thought, there is no way this fudge is going to be great. I was wrong! It is DELICIOUS! Rich, creamy, that hint of vanillia. A major hit in my house and sure to be a family staple around the holidays. Finally, I found my go-to peanut butter fudge recipe!

Alton Brown is known for being detailed down to the science...and when I clicked on this recipe..the ingredients were everything that I had.and it only took 5 mins. to make and then I stuck in the fridge and then a couple hours later..I tore off a piece.oh my god..it just melted in my mouth and it was good...I couldnt believe this recipe is so easy and fast to make...I saved this to my recipe box...everyone should make this!

Well, I thought at first I did something wrong -- the mixture was the consistency of honey after I finished following the recipe. I went back and re-watched the video and I hadn't done anything wrong or different. I did use natural peanut butter, since Alton doesn't specify what kind (other than smooth -- so I wonder if that was it? I ended up doubling the amount of sugar to thicken it up. It's in the fridge now so we'll see...

Easy and ranks right up there among the best of peanut butter fudge I've ever had. Comes out smooth everytime - not to say it is impossible to mess up though. Just watch your times and you should be good. This is one is worth a try if you love peanut butter fudge.
