Alton must love pepper. I certainly do; however, the next time I make this I'll use less than half the pepper recommended.

This is so simple and the outcome has been stellar! Used to make Bloody Marys the intensity of the pepper flavor really pops through the tomato juice with a spicy flash that will have you saying "WOW" after every sip! Thank you AB for sharing!

...I used coffee!
I took a little more then 2 tablespoons lightly ground (a few pulses of my grinder coffee beans and followed the same recipe and it is absolutely delicious!
