I liked the bar, but I changed mine a bit. Not being much of a fan of dried fruit, I substituted the fruit with 1 cup of mini chocolate chips and half cup of chopped peanuts. Very tasty, even my kids liked them.

As simply a protein bar these are delicious, especially compared to store bought varieties. Remember to use soy powder and not soy flour as a previous poster said she used. I recommend this recipe for regular protein bar consumers for economic and taste considerations. Anyone that's not used to protein bars in general may need to get used to the taste, which grows on you for sure.

I like the recipe and it was easy to prepare, best of all you don't get all the chemicals like the boxed stuff or all the salt and suger and if you want to add or delete to your taste of fruits it makes it really nice.the best yet it is low in cal.

Very tasty, very filling, great replacement for commercial granola bars and the like. I put them in little individual ziplock backs in my lunch, they last a week. Try and find the soy protein in bulk, the stuff and the health food stores varies in price greatly

These bars are awesome. Especially for athletes and body builders who survive on this stuff. I doubled the protein powder and used whey protein.....tasted great and boosts the protein content.

I loved them. Even though, the recipe is perfect. I wanted to play with the recipe and I did some adjustment. I made them with Chocolate protein powder, 2 egg whites and 1 whole. I also used the lite silken tofu and I even used the splenda brown sugar. They came out so so good!!!!

Thank You ALTON your the best!! My daughter loves to watch you. :-

The texture is pretty good for a protein bar. but to kick up the flavor, we bought some extracts to the party! We are adding chocolate flavoring to the next batch. No calories just flavor!
You can get these any where you by baking products.
Try strawberry extract with dried strawberrys!

This was a good power bar. Nice alternative to processed store brands and high priced naturals (they're all expensive. I love eating unprocessed foods...the longer it takes my body to digest...the more balanced I feel throught the day. Someone mentioned they were able to modify this receipe and reduce the carb. content. How was that done and was taste lost? Picking brains and looking for ideas.
