Great way to use up leftovers! The last one I made used leftover fajita vegetables and cheddar cheese. Spicy and oh so satisfying!

I remember when my mother told me that making quiche loraine was "really difficult". I now realize that she was being sarcastic.
Really easy recipe. I used swiss, cheddar, spinach and bacon.

Excellent! I have a fab recipe (Mom's naturally for Lorraine that I've been making for years and my family (little kids too loves that is a bit more work. I was afraid this was too simple. Oh me of little faith. Saw the episode and thought I'd give it a try. Amazing. I did the goat cheese/chicken/sd toms version and bacon/leek/swiss (no gruyere. Both outstanding. This is a keeper and one I'll make frequently. (I used Pillsbury frozen pie crusts - pretty good! Thanks, Alton!

This is a no-fail recipe! I made the pie with ham, onions, red pepper, and cheddar cheese, and I served it with sour cream on the side.
Simple and delicious.

Absolutely delicious! Leeks and gruyere with bacon was great. My family raved over it and the pie was gone in minutes.

Love this recipe.... never had a problem with it. Foodspell, maybe try using half and half instead of the cream, that's what I do. I also by pass the nutmeg.

Am I doing something wrong? I made 4 of these and they were too rich and mushy. Can someone tell me how much ingredients you use? Maybe I need more "stuff.". I also may have added too much nutmeg. Maybe I should have cooked it longer. Ugh. Maybe I am expecting too much. I made a ham and cheddar, sauted leeks/ gruyere/broccoli (the only edible one, pancetta/goat cheese/roasted peppers, and a buffalo chicken/blue cheese (as gross as you would think. The royale just seemed mushy and soo rich. Made it with cream. Everyone seems to have success so I won't dog it, but I need help.

Why don't they make 6 stars? This amp (recipe really goes up to 11. My kids like it so much they pick it up and eat it like pizza. Of course, it may help that I described it to them as "bacon and ham and cheese pie!" Caramelized onions, bacon, ham, and cheddar are our favorite fillings. Very easy to make, reheats very nicely if you're gentle (50% in microwave, and delicious.

Seriously good! I had to "cater" my wife's baby shower (or is it my baby's baby shower?. Anyway, 20 women gathering together for baby themed fun. I made 8 of these things in a little over 2 ours. All different flavors. All were gone. I did a little twist that seemed to go over really well. I made a crust out of hash brown potatoes using a bag of the frozen style shredded potatoes. That one went first from what I'm told.

I made 2 this weekend. 1 with bacon and gruyere, 1 veggie with broccoli, tricolor peppers, onions and a bit of cheddar. Absolutely amazing. I like quiche, but I LOVE this recipe. I could see myself making this a couple times a month to get rid of those "last day" meats and veggies.
