This recipe was all that it should be: quick, used items I had in my cupboard, and easy to put together. Best of all - it was TASTY!! We had fresh Nantucket Bay scallops, and this recipe was just what we wanted.

This is one of the easiest, quickest and best tasting recipes that I have made...! The spices did not overkill, you could still taste the great flavor of the scallop, with a little kick. Thanks Alton!!

In my opinion, this is the best way to quickly prepare a simple scallop dish. The lack of "other" spices allows for the sweetness of the scallop to be the main feature.

Simplicity at its best. As usual it is all in the timing and proper heat/direction that make this dish work well.

I too added a little white wine and lemon juice. Absolutely incredible.

Scallops are my favorite seafood. I have made them countless ways. I used this recipe today and the scallops were awesome! I won't make them any other way from now on.
