    The huge amount of baking powder in this recipe makes the biscuits taste bitter - even gravy won't hide it!

    This was my first time with roll out biscuits always made drop biscuits in the past.. Was very happy with the end result they were perfect! Will keep using this recipe in the future.

    if you r going to make these biscuits cut down the baking soda by about half, there was so much it burned by kids mouth, but if u do that their great

    I have been trying to make biscuits for years. Every single recipe by every famous chef has been barely so-so...mostly UCK!

    I was skeptical about even Alton's biscuits and wasn't going to make them because I'm just sick of trying (even though Alton's recipes are phenomenal but I thought, "Well, one more try won't hurt."

    OH MY WORD THESE BISCUITS ARE THE BEST BISCUITS EVER!!!!!

    GOOD JOB AGAIN! ALTON!
