For a simple recipe, without doubt awesome! May have had better once or twice but at the expense of very difficult techniques. The pasta envelops the sauce for a tasty surprise with every bite. Must confess we used three cheese cheese on a count of our local store was out of five cheese. So I guess we'll need to go cheese hunting for tomorrow's dinner...yes it's that good.

For being a stove top recipe, I thought it was pretty good. I have leftovers and I am wondering how that will be. Otherwise, the recipe was very easy to make and when you are in a hurry, this is a great recipe.

I love this recipe! The first time I made this I doubled the recipe and thought the texture was to eggy but everyone else loved it. The second time I added half the eggs and it was perfect. Maybe I did something wrong the first time but both ways was a big hit in my house.

Absolutely the best mac & cheese I have ever tasted. I will never make my baked version again, or touch the blue box. Ever.

Add a can of diced tomatoes with Chilis to make a great mexi-mac. Excellent.

This was the BEST mac 'n cheese recipe ever. I have tried every recipe that comes along. This one is the best. I have given it to at least four others and they all love it.

This is wonderful! The BEST home made mac and cheese I've ever made! I love stove top since the dish stays creamy cheesey, and yummy. It is also the easiest I've ever made. You don't notice the hot sauce or dry mustard flavors but they add a delicious spark to the dish. This is going to be my go-to recipe from now on!

I have been looking for a quick and easy, stove top version of mac and cheese for my toddler and now I have found one! I followed Alton Brown's recipe to a "T" and I think it is the best. This recipe is so simple and quick to make. Give it a try!

Loved this and will continue to make it. I needed an additional side dish for Easter so I made this one since it was so easy and I had no more space in my oven.
It was absolutely delicious and so easy. I didn't use the eggs since I don't like eggs in my mac and cheese and it was still perfect.

Use a good cheddar- I usually use Tillamook or Wisconsin Cheddar from a cheese shop since I live close to the border.
I used a whole package of macaroni since I had to feed a few more people than normal and still not dry even though I kept everything else the same. I also added some caramelized sweet onions even the kids loved it.

It reheated well- I just put a teeny bit of milk in it and some plastic wrap over the bowl and microwaved for a minute or so.
    This will be a staple.
