We thought this recipe was wonderful. We used gluten free homemade bread in our preparation of this recipe so everyone could eat it. We also marinated the strawberries in the Merlot wine overnite and the taste of the Merlot was not at all evident as we noticed some reviews had mentioned. We watch every episode of the Good Eats Series and have tried many of the recipes. We haven't tried one yet we didn't love. We hope Good Eats continues on a regular basis for a long time. Thanks!

I made this dish and it wasn't of medium difficulty. It was very good and most impressive. I even tried this dish with blueberries and it also worked very well. I like this recipe very much and I truly enjoy Alton's show.
