My boyfriend is just starting to take an interest in cooking and we love Alton Brown. This recipe really caught his eye so he decided to give it a try for Thanksgiving! What great results. We stuck to the recipe with the exception of degalzing with wine, we only had chicken stock, but it was yummy. We are still talking about it and the tons of other ideas for stuffing! Thanks Alton.

I made this recipe tonight for dinner and served it with a simple green salad. My husband is STILL talking about it. It's a definite keeper. My only modification was to use couscous instead of rice. It was DELICIOUS. Thanks Good Eats.

I've made this stuffing many times and it works well with pork, lamb, beef, or chicken. I usually double the amount of veggies and meat and use it to stuff peppers, tomatoes, eggplant...anything I have on hand. Any toasted nut is delicious as well. I like to add a little fresh mint to the final product and serve with some good feta or goat cheese.

This is "Shawn" who wrote "Stuffed Squash" a while back under these reviews. I saw this just before Thanksgiving. The dish came out great but all mentioned that it was too much. We had 8-10 dishes and this is a meal in itself. A very good dish but that's all you need.

I found this recipe Delicious. Not only that though, you can easily convert it into a vegetarian recipe (just substitute tofu for pork or adjust it up or down. You can do four squashes for a family, or just one - a perfect winter meal :-.

I have made this recipe several times and it always turns out great. The only substitution I made was to use maple sausage instead of the pork. It gives the dish a nice flavor.

They will never know how good this is for them, and it is sooo easy to make ahead of time (all but the baking a day or so early, and then just shove it into the oven!

For a great variation, try adding a tablespoon of Major Grey's Chutney to each squash, along with the other ingredients.
