    My husband and I really enjoyed these swedish meatballs. This was my first time making meatballs, and they turned out to be fairly easy to make. I did not use pork in order to decrease the fat content and they still had a lot of flavor. The sauce did need something, so I added a little more fresh cracked black pepper on top of the meatballs and sauce after plating.

    I thought these swedish meatballs were really good. I could see why some people thought the gravy was a little bland, but I thought it was better when I just added a little more salt. I served them with mashed potatoes. If this recipe was a little healthier, I would probably make it once a week.

    I first served these at a party I was having in honor of my brother. It was a HUGE hit. I didn't change a thing. This recipe is perfect as is! It's super easy and delicious. Now, because of budget limitations, etc. I have had to make a few fixes here or there, but it's ALWAYS a hit at parties... and even for dinner with some dumplings and a veggie on the side. =

    I always hate when people try a recipe and change many things about it and then rate the recipe as you are not trying the original recipe so I tried this one to the exact directions but I was out of ground pork and put ground turkey only because I had it. It was amazing. The sauce was superb and the meatballs had a great texture and taste. I choose to serve it over egg noodles but anything would have been great..It was added to my recipes for sure

    This is a family go-to. Everyone loves it, and I lighten it up by using all ground lean turkey. Quick, HEALTHY, and yummy over whole wheat egg noodles.

    just ok, the meatballs were not that great, but not bad either, the sauce, was as bland as it gets. I added a little salt, pepper and all spice, still boring. I added some Maggi and that helped. I dont think I will repeat this one. Sorry Alton!

    Awesome meatballs!!! I follow the recipe as written. The meatballs are very tasty. I double and triple the recipe sometimes and throw the extras in the freezer. Definitely a keeper. A great alternative to the Italian meatballs.
