Thanks Alton!! This is the best G.F. Choc chip recipe I've found

I added cinnamon, tons of nuts and dried cranberries. They disappeared quickly! MMMMMM!

I wasn't too thrilled. I baked as directed except using soy milk instead of regular milk. The first batch burned (and I even took them out early so I turned the oven down. The next batch was undercooked in the middle but overly crispy around the edges. I was at least expecting great taste based on reviews but I actually found them rather grainy and they didn't hold shape very well. I'm going back to the good old fashioned toll house recipe and substituting gluten free flour.

Loooved it....many GF recipes are either bland or just blah but this is wonderful. I didn't have any tapoica flour so I substituted potato flour. I am also dairy (or lactose free so I use lactose free milk but otherwise....great......They almost burned, however, so definitely I'm lowering temp next time!

These cookies are delicious and have gotten rave reviews from all my friends! I switched out some of the brown rice flour for sorghum flour and that tasted delicious as well.

These were, hands down, the best gluten free cookie I've ever tasted! I did make a couple of tweaks, though... used 3/4c of coconute oil instead of butter, used a bit less brown sugar, only 1tsp of vanilla, a bit more salt, and lowered the temp to 350 baking for only 12 minutes. Absolutely amazing!!

made these for christmas after a customer of mine gave me the recipe and they are the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had. Everyone was ranting and raving about them at Christmas and nobody knew they were gluten free. I will make these alot now that i invested in that darn xanthum gum.

I have made these cookies several times and they are always eaten in record time. I have several family members who can't eat gluten and these taste great. BTW, cows milk does not contain gluten, only wheat, rye, barley and oats (via cross contamination do. Many people who can't eat gluten also have a problem with dairy, but they are separate problems.

You DO have to watch out for what is in the chocolate chips - if it doesn't say gluten-free, it isn't. Nestle isn't. Whole Foods and Mrs Greens carry the GF variety. Just be prepared to pay twice as much for them too....
