Delicious! I didn't miss not having wheat flour at all, but my first two pans were too dark, so I baked the last few pans, one pan at a time, for 5 mins then turned pan around for another 5 mins. Total 10 mins at 350, not 375. I'm at high altitude, so maybe that's the difference.

These are delicious! I am not gluten free, but these taste a lot like the real thing, amazing! Tip: to make these egg free if you need using about a tablespoon of flaxseeds mixed with a tablespoon of water makes a decent substitute.

These were fantastic. I did use NewSweet for the sugar and brown sugar... we're diabetic. And they turned out great.

These were very good gluten free cookies! I was quite surprised. The texture was just like the real thing unlike other gluten free cookies I've tasted. If you follow the recipe exactly as written and use a scale to weigh the ingredients that are listed in ounces then the cookies will turn out great.

This cookies were by far the best gluten free cookie I have made or tasted. Alton Brown you nailed it. I wish you would do more gluten free recipes..maybe even a cook book????

Taste like the real thing! My husband and I are trying to go gluten free after reading about the health benefits in a popular book. My daughter is already gluten free due to a number of food allergies. These are the first chocolate chip cookies that taste like the regular ones. I did make them smaller though. The 2 oz size was just too much. Thanks Alton!

These cookies are delicious. I used white rice flour, but followed the recipe for everything else. The texture is different from regular all-purpose flour, but it isn't bad. It even passed my husband "cookies will never be the same without gluten" test. Thank you Alton!

This is my first time making gluten free cookies. I followed this recipe to the "T" and they turned out perfectly and they are absolutely delicious. My kids knew the were GF but told me they didn't taste like it at all!!!!

My daughter made these several times during the past few weeks for the holidays. Her husband is type 1 diabetic, dairy-free, and gluten-free and she has searched high and low for a gf choc chip cookie recipe that tastes "normal". Well, these are it!!!! They are fabulous, even my kids LOVE them! Of course we had to change the butter to dairy free spread and the milk to almond milk but they are wonderful!!! They freeze well too.
