These are wonderful. I didn't have bread flour and used all-purpose and they were still great. A word of caution though, don't leave them on the baking sheet to cool or they get to done. (The last batch I made got a little crisp

These cookies are spectacular. I changed the cooking temp to 325* and cooked them longer- about 11 minutes.
They are so good, we will not be sharing...

These cookies are so delicious! Recently, I spent $5+ at Bugaboo Creek Restaurant for a large, warm chocolate chip cookie topped with vanilla ice cream, and I thought that was the best cookie I had ever had--until now! And I can have these for a lot less! I found that when I cooked them to the doneness/chewiness that I like they seemed darker than the usual choc chip cookie color but I attributed that to the quantity of dark brown sugar. Also, I only got 18 cookies from my batch instead of the 2 1/2 dozen the recipe indicated. I thought Alton mentioned a 1 1/2 oz scoop, which I used (my scoop didn't have a #20 on it.

I have never written a review before, OF ANYTHING! But after eating this cookie I was compelled. This was hands down the best chocolate chip cookie I've ever had. In fact my husband was speechless. As I type this I'm baking 2 more batches, because 1 is simply not going to last. Tonight were going to try them with a scoop of Vanilla Ben & Jerry's. They are the perfect ice cream cookie. STOP THINKING ABOUT IT AND JUST BAKE THIS COOKIE!!

I have been looking for the perfect chocolate chip recipe for years and I have found it. It is always a hit and everyone wants the recipe. This really is the best chocolate chip recipe I have ever made. Make sure you use butter and not margarine.

These cookies are everything he said they would be. Soft and chewy. I finally have a recipe where the cookies stay soft!

The cookies had a rich cookie flavor and the texture did not alter with time. Fantastic, my number one chocolate chip cookie recipe
