The first batch out of the oven didn't last 3 minutes. They have great texture. We'll be making these again.

Everyone I knows loves these cookies. The texture is perfect, and they're good for a couple days, but they usually don't last that long. But if they do, we microwave them for a couple seconds. This recipe is perfect.

I've made these several times, and everyone who's tasted them agrees. These are the absolute best chocolate chip cookies ever! The only thing that can make them better is using chunk chocolate, rather than chips. I found this out by accident when I left the bag of chips on top of the stove while the oven was preheating. They melted into a gooey mess, but I popped the bag in the freezer and, once it was hard, I peeled the bag off and chopped the chocolate up. I don't know why it tastes better this way, but it makes my husband happy! Keep these incredible recipes coming, Alton!

I have made a lot of chocolate chip cookies in my day and these are by far the best. I have used all sorts of recipes searching for moist chewy cookies where the cookie part tasted as good as the chocolate in it. This is the recipe and it is easy too. another plus is that if you use the cookie dough scoop from crate and barrel (sorry, I don't know the size they are not even a calorie buster but they are FAR more satisfying than any low fat/cal option you can buy.

I have wowed many a potential suitor with these little babies. Be sure to follow the recipe exactly, though, and use the FRESHEST ingredients.
