I have only two chocolate chip cookies recipes that I'll make, and this is one of them. It's absolutely easy and wonderful. Shame on anyone who reads the back of the chip bag rather than trying these.

Not as sweet as tollhouse and I like that. Husband prefers this recipe too!

Cookies turn out wonderful. My family loves them and the neighborhood kids ask if we have any everytime they come over! Quite a hit!

I just made my first batch, and we love them. I used a whole wheat flour, and organic sugar instead. My kids are enjoying them now with a scoop of homemade ice cream. Thanks Alton. ;

I have been looking for a recipe to please my Husband with. The only kind of cookies he liked were the ones in the tube. I kept telling him there was somthing much better out there. And this is diffently it. Thanks!

I was very happy with this recipe, they did turn out nice & chewy...the only problem, they didn't last long!

These were wonderful. Instead of chocolate chips in one of my batches, I used white chocolate, dried cranberries, and macadamia nuts. All were wonderful.

Great cookie. I love oatmeal in my cookies and am going to use this recipe to experiment so I can see if I can make a great cookie even better.

I made this cookie per request of my father. It was good, but odd putting the melted butter in it. I added toasted pecans. This will be a new recipe in my chocolate chip file!
