I have learned that Alton knows a thing or two (or three about food. This was the first ever episode I caught of Good Eats. I thought he was just another Thomas Dolby look-a-like. Boy, was I wrong. I'll never be able to eat shrimp any other way than this from now on! Just try his technique once and you're hooked. I even got my boss to do it...NOW HE'S HOOKED!!! Thanks Alton for showing me the way (and getting me a pay raise to boot!

its a little more work then just cooking the shrimp on top of the stove, but it is certainly worth the effort.
moist, tender, and lots more flavor.
