Very good. Crunchy, and like other reviews said very subtle tuna taste. I also substituted canned tuna because we keep it stocked. Doubled the recipe and it was just enough for 2 adults and one kid for dinner. Works equally well with canned salmon.

Perfect lunch or two, especially for Fridays in Lent. The only thing I swapped out was red onion for green.

I have made this 2 times now once without the panko and once with regular bread crumbs. the panko definitely tastes better. I also use the canned tuna because that is the kind we get. Both times my hubby said they were good with a smile. : lol. This recipe is a good go to since we dont use tuna or seafood very often. They dont taste much like tuna or fish. Which is nice. Easy to make. which is great with 2 little ones running around. Just make sure you DRAIN the tuna well if you arent using the pouch tuna. Overall. I liked it. :D

Perfect quick lunch. Made these exactly as is for lunch today after watching Tuna, Surprise! I knew I would like them, but was taking a chance on my 1 y/o. Well rest assure it was a hit, she woofed it down with her mac n cheese with zero fuss! Thanks for an incredibly easy, successful lunch for me and my little squeakers!

Uhhh...not for me. Was excited about the simple ingredients, but no one in my family liked them.

Was home alone (for once before my monthly big shopping expedition and was wondering what to make. Saw a can of albecore in my cupboard and checked FN and found this recipe. I was concerned because my mom used to always make 'tuna burgers' and they were horrible. So, thought I would try Alton's recipe. I was out of panko, so i used saltines and ommitted the salt in the recipe. Also out of pepper (I know, who runs out of freakin pepper?, so added a couple dashes of old bay. I served myself these prepared cakes with some of my rockin homemade tarter. They were great (nothing like my mom's morphed freaky tuna surprise patties. I had made four patties as entrees - two each serving, so in figuring the cost out for two servings, it came to less than $2.00 a serving, and add a small salad.....$2.50.... ya can't get any better than that!

Very good, and easy. I use a similar recipe with canned salmon without the mustard, but can imagine that would good. I also substitute shallots for the green onions, depending what I have on hand. Thank you, Alton.

I used this recipe last night and they were pretty good. The only thing I'd change is more panko and less dijon.
