This was quick and easy. I substituted left over trout for the tuna, omitted the onion, and used a tablespoon of mayo with a tablespoon Dijon. I molded them into the shape of a fish stick. My daughter loved them. I'll definitely use this for my leftover fish in the future and will probably try it with tuna too!

Concerned with the mercury levels in Tuna, I tried this recipe with a 10oz can of chicken. Amazing! I might never make this with tuna again. I think next time I might dice up some jalapenos in replace of the green onion. Maybe even try it with pulled pork.:

These were delicious, the only thing I added was some garlic powder because I love garlic. First time making and I nailed it. I followed the directions and my family loves them!

Delicious, easy to remember, and tuna is always on hand. Always purchased Italian "tono", but would have been too strong for this recipe. Alton is right on target. Make certain that you use fresh lemons and make your own tartar sauce.

Cheap, easy, delicious. My kids 8, 10, 12 ate them up. We put them on little buns and it was croquette sliders!

Another great recipe by AB! : I've made other tuna patty recipes before, but none have came out as great as this one did!

I did a few swaps to fit my personal tastes. I'm not a fan of onion, so I completely cut that out. However, I love having the crunch + sweetness from shredded carrots, so I put in 1/2 c. Also, to make these cheesy, I put in 1/2 c of mozzerella.. : Dijon mustard is something that I'm not fond of. Instead, I used Miracle Whip (trust me, it's not as weird as it sounds this helped to bind it, along with the eggs, + it also gave a bit of flavor.

Very important: let the patties rest for at least 15 minutes before cooking. I didn't have any fall apart, which has happened to me with other recipes.

Extras (cooked freeze beautifully! I wrapped them in foil (individually and then placed in ziplock baggies. Pull out as many as you need, they even reheat in the microwave nicely! Yum!

I will definitely be using this recipe in the future!

Very good. Crunchy, and like other reviews said very subtle tuna taste. I also substituted canned tuna because we keep it stocked. Doubled the recipe and it was just enough for 2 adults and one kid for dinner. Works equally well with canned salmon.

Perfect lunch or two, especially for Fridays in Lent. The only thing I swapped out was red onion for green.
