I substituted good quality crab for the tuna, and my husband thought it was the best crab cakes he's ever had! We'll use this again and again!

My wife and I have been long friends of can tuna - and didn't even realize it came in pouches. We made this recipe and it was simply fantastic! It's the perfect food for us to make for dinner with extras to add onto a salad for lunch the next day.

This is a really simple recipe with simple ingredients, but what you get is a really tasty treat. Tuna out of a can doesn't get much better than this.

This recipe finally got my very picky 10 year old to eat tuna. She loves the show and has us going nuts with the DVR. This recipe got her in the kitchen making dinner and she's constantly asking for them. Once a kid is old enough to handle the frying part, they can pretty much do this one themselves. She loves experimenting with the ingredients. They are delicious. Thanks Alton.

This recipe was easy and delicious! I am on dialysis and this recipe is great protein source for me. I have passed it on to other patients. The mustard and lemon juice add that zip that I love!

These were great and easy to put together. They will seem to be a bit too moist but do not worry as they will cook just fine. Add a little extra bread crumbs. They will seem a bit fragile, too, but 3 minutes on each side will make them GBD ! I used Italian bread crumbs and they added an extra bit of spice and I let them rest for 30 minutes, too. I also used a 6 oz. can instead of a pouch ... just make sure you give it a good drain.

Try some different sauces, horseradish is great, so is mayo and hot sauce with relish. I tried a batch with capers and one with Old Bay ... all were excellent.

    A definate make-again !

I made these for dinner tonight and was quite pleased with the end result. As the previous reviewer stated, they're a bit delicate (and since I made mine double-sized, I had to be careful when moving them to and from the pan.

They're great served over arugula drizzled with olive oil and lemon juice.

Aboslutely wonderful, easy to double recipie, but I'd recomend adding a bit more panko to the mix if you do.
My mother lives crab but suddenly became allergic to it, made this recipie and it was a hit with everyone! No complaints.
If you want to dip it in something I'd suggest plain mayo or squeezing some lemon. Another wonderful recipie from Alton Brown!

I made them with tuna in a pouch, as directed. The croquettes are fragile, but not unwieldy, as they are small. Really delicious! Topped them with a spicy red pepper sauce. Will definitely make them again.
