i first made this as a appetizer for a party when i got home from college this year. it tastes a little peanut buttery but it still was hummus.

I loved the peanut butter in place of the tahini. This recipe is amazing I always keep a batch in the refrigerator and honest to God, I eat it everyday on some grilled pita. I adjusted it to my likings with more lemon juice, because I love lemon but this is the best hummus I've ever had.

It was too flat. I tried adding more
peanut butter, but it didn't help. Definitely better with tahini.

I have to agree that tahini tastes better in hummus than pb, but this recipe is a great starting point for excellent hummus. I added a lot of parsley (2 handfuls and 2 shakes of louisiana hot sauce.

I didn't much care for this recipe. Using peanut butter instead of the traditional tahini sounded good, but wasn't. The dish was too sweet and I missed the smoky taste of sesame. If I try the recipe again using peanut butter, I'm going to try adding red pepper flakes to offset the sweetness with some heat.

I love this recipe, but it definitely needs a few shakes of Tobasco and some extra garlic. After that, it's poifect! : The best hummus I've ever had.

Easy and delicious, this hummus is liked by just about eveyone...even those who don't think they like garbanzo beans! Have served it alone with crackers/pita wedges, raw carrots, or on sandwiches. Even at a ladies' tea. Definitely worth a try!

Another great, simple recipe from AB. I always find "the definitive" version of a recipe with his name on it - AB rocks.
