We liked this so much at Thanksgiving we are having it again for Christmas. This stuffing is a keeper.

This stuffing is fabulous! Really interesting flavors. I would use about 1/2 the dried mushrooms next time and a little more sage. We didn't stuff the bird but cooked it in a dish on the side and it worked fine. Roasting the veggies is a delightful flavor addition as is the green pepper.

I made AB's stuffing recipe--my very 1st from scratch, and it was wonderful. A word of caution however. I doubled the recipe, and actually forgot to double the herbs---but it was just fine. In fact, I think if you double the sage, it would be overpowering. This is a "keeper!"

Once again Chef Brown makes sense as he backtracks from his "Stuffing is evil" stance and shows how to make the stuffing of goodness, in a turkey no less.
Less dressing. More stuffing. Yum, AB! Yum!

Stuffing was great! I added some mild pork sausage which added just a little heat which made a nice combination to the sweetness of the cherries. The stuffing got better with age. Next time I think I would soak the dried cherries so they would swell up with flavor faster rather than a day later. Would definitely make again!

Lovee this stuffing. Did not stuff the bird, baked it in the oven for 1 hr. Found it moist but not wet, hint of sweetness but not overbearing. Also added some dried apricots. The fruit and nuts made this.
Will diffently make again and recommend to family
