Ok so it is not lite or low calorie.
It is not a staple food, so adjust your portion and enjoy one of this.
It is easy to make and better to eat

This is well worth the time and effort - rich, creamy, and better than store bought ice cream hands down. As Alton says, your patience will be rewarded if you let it ripen. Try his chocolate version, too - the best!

I printed the recipe on Wednesday, made the ice cream on Thursday, fought for more on Friday (today. Well worth the 8 hour wait. Reminded me of my childhood when we would make ice cream with milnot. Another A plus for Alton. All hail Alton!
