I was so excited to make these after reading all the great reviews and I love Alton Brown's show. They were inedible. I was so disappointed. It took forever to make, which is OK, I like to cook. But by the time I was done making them it was so late, me and my husband just went to Taco Bell.

These are so easy to make & soo yummy.

My fiance asks for these a lot, so I make them a couple times a month & serve them with egg drop soup.

    Thanks for the great recipe!

I never comment on anything, but I felt compelled to for these amazing little dumplings. All I have to say is, my 5 year old ate about 15 of these things, I think that's proof enough that you have an incredible recipe here...it's being sealed into my personal recipe book...so glad I found this. My husband is already saying I should make them for Thanksgiving, but I think I would have to quadruple the recipe like someone else has commented because my recipe made all 48 of the wonton squares I had and there's 4 left....we were savages over them! haha

Every time we are in Chicago a stop at Food Life is a must for their potstickers. I have to say these are as good... as long as you have a gourmet man friend willing to cook and pour for you! Enjoy!

Hoisin souse is a must! Overall good, but mine came out dry inside, though I followed the recipe. Do not know why. Looked gorgeous though!

These dumplings are so delicious that my non-vegetarian family members were fighting over them! I made a double recipe and it still wasn't enough to go around - next time I'll have to x4! And since I'm a vegan I left out the egg and no problems there.

These are also wonderful deep fried. To ensure you get a good seal when you wrap the dumplings by using raw egg to seal the ends. I find that a simple quick wrap that works well is a simple tringle wrap (fold the corners together.

As a dipping sauce, mix soy sauce, vinager, fish sauce, lemon juice, cilantro and hot chilli peppers with plenty of sugar.... or try you or dipping sauce creation.

I have never tried tofu before and that this would be the perfect recipe to experiment with. They were delicious. It takes a little time to prep but well worth the wait. Would definitely make these again.

I am a carnivore and proud of it. But as I approach 50, I realized some changes need to be made. I saw this dude, David Suzuki, on the Planet Green channel, and he recommended going vegetarian one day a week. I made these dumplings for a Chinese New Year feast that my entire family put together. Every single adult in my family is now making these dumplings. They are outrageously good. Oh, and this carnivore is now a once-a-week vegetarian. And feeling a lot healthier for it!

i had a craving for soft yummy dumplings and being a SERIOUS alton fan, he never steers me wrong, i thought id better give his recipe a go first..ya its a little time consuming but i think it took me longer because i paired this as an appetizer for the sesame noodles with chicken that is on this site as well.. so i killed two birds with one stone, since some of the veg is the same for both... my first batch just got done like 5 minutes ago and its insane. these are sooo good. all those flavors, the first i tasted was the ginger, definitely delicious.. ill do a review on the noodles when im done with them :]
