I made this for a friend. She wanted an angel food cake with whipped cream and strawberries. She asked me to add the thawed out and sliced frozen strawberries. It was so amazing and she was impressed how it tasted not so sweet just right : By the way I used your Angel food cake recipe I give it a five also.

It tasted like the whipped cream in the spray can although it didn't have all the bad ingredients. My first time making whipped cream and I thought this recipe was a great start. I used the hand mixer on low at first, then medium when I noticed it wasn't going to splash everywhere. It took less about 2 minutes. I also added a little vanilla extract. Had it with strawberries. So fresh. Will always make home made now.

I am not a fan of the prepared whipped topping and had decided to make Paula Deen's Gingerbread Pumpkin Trifle. It called for boxed gingerbread and prepared topping, but opted to make my own (gingerbread and topping. As someone else stated, the cold metal bowl and beaters is the trick... whips up in an instant and very, very good. Why go with the "frozen" stuff. By the way, Paula's Trifle recipe was a huge hit!

I just converted my husband from *gasp* the tub o' white stuff...He LOVED this on his pumpkin pie this Thanksgiving. So easy to do, took less than 5 minutes with a hand held blender....the cold bowl and beaters made it go faster.

Very tasty and easy to make. I used an electric blender and didn't put my bowl in the freezer and it still came out wonderful. Topped my version of Alton's Sweet Potato Pie with it.

Not too sweet with a great texture and so, so easy to make. I even used the leftovers in my morning coffee the next day since I could not bear to throw even the tiniest bit of this yummy goodness out.

The recipe alludes to hand whisking? this is not recommended! (unless of course you have biceps of steel! Use a hand held blender of some kind at least! otherwise it is ABSOLUTELY DIVINE!
