Delicious. The ribs just fall off the bones. However, I did alter the recipe. I rub the ribs over night and in the morning I put them in my slow cooker. 2hrs on high and then 3hrs on low. Then throw on grill with BBQ sauce for a few minutes on each side to caramelize the sauce.

Amazing. And I mean no disrespect...but if these ribs came out "tough" for you??? WOW. Perhaps they were not baby back. I agree with cutting back on salt. And prefer not to baste with sauce but grill with bbcue, But that is my family's personal preference. Enjoy your summer and your grill!

The ribs were too salty. It may have been the difference between the kosher salt and the fact that I used sea salt. The sauce would not thicken up at the end. I like a sweeter sauce. I cooked them about 3 hours at that temperature.

For the amount of time and ingredients it took they should have tasted so much better.

This recipe was the best recipe I have ever used for ribs - I made them this Fourth of July and never had so many compliments. I did alter the recipe slightly. I cooked them in the foil pouches for 4 hours at 300. I wasn't going to use them until the next day so I put them in the refrigerator over night. When I was ready to grill them I took them out of the foil and grilled 30 mins on low. I then put Sweet Baby Rays Barbque sauce on them. Outstanding! Will use this recipe all the time.

This recipe did not work for me at all. After 2 1/2 hours, the ribs were cooked, but nowhere near "fall off the bone". The house smelled great, but the ribs were rubbery, and I just didn't have another 2 hours to cook them. Because of all the other reviews, I only used 2 teaspoons of salt in the rub, but the glaze reduction still didn't taste good to me. Sorry, I'll be using a much different recipe next time.

So Good. I am not a good cook at all. The recipe was easy to follow and tasted as good as it looked on the show. Everyone in my family adores these ribs and are always requesting them at every gathering.

YUM!! Sound like it is more work than it really is. Make sure to follow Alton's reccomendation and watch the meat closely, because it does burn fast!

    Super delicious!!!
BUT, I decided to triple the recipe for an early 4th BBQ and they were almost inedibly salty. In hindsight, I do remember that they were pretty salty the first time so I also strongly recommend cutting down the salt.
