Too much salt in the rub soaks into the meat and then winds up in the glazing liquid - double whammy. Otherwise, moist and fall-off-the-bone tender. Reduce the salt by 75% and add some tomato and smoke flavor (personal preference and I'd give them 5 stars.

I have such faith in you Alton, that I made this dish for company without having tried it before. Everyone was impressed with how tender and flavorful they were..all without smoke. No leftovers here.

I just finished hosing myself down after eating a raft (and I'm not kidding! of baby backs per Alton's "Who Loves Ya" baby back rib

If I can get my mother to tell me these are the best ribs she has ever eaten in her life, then this recipe is a blessing! I could not find jalapeno powder so I added a bit more cayenne and garlic. The white wine was great for us and unlike some other reviews I did not feel they were too salty! Thanks Alton! Good Eats..

Very easy to do indoors and everybody
really liked. But...where do you get
    jalapeno powder?
