Alton, this is a wonderful way to cook ribs. I feel like a chef myself. Thanks

Easy and a great way to impress your guests. If you really want to put on a show finish the for a few minutes on a low heat smoker... it is out standing.

I have used this rub on brisket, chicken, ribs and roasts. It is consistently the best I have ever used. I have shared the recipe with many family members and make up the dry rub to give to my foodie friends.

I went to my butcher and told to use spare ribs because they had more meat on them. We went away for a bachelor party and my job was the ribs, I figured all the guys were animals anyway so I was better off with the bigger ribs. The cook time should have been around 2 1/2 hours, since the spare ribs were much larger; I had to cook them in the oven for closer to 4 hours. I added one extra liquid ingredient because everyone loves a BBQ flavor. I added one tablespoon of liquid smoke to wet ingredients and it the ribs were a great success.

I am 57 years old and grew up eating my moms Cairo, GA. ribs. She never taught me how to do her best ribs in the world. Well, last week we had a BBQ and a neighbor brought over some pretty darn good ribs. Your show inspired me to give it a shot. They were so good I have now been disignated rib queen!! Instructions on the show were so easy to follow and the sauce!!!!!!!!

Thanks for showing an old broad a new trick.

I tried this recipe and just omitted the wine and my family thought that it had been ordered at a resturant

My husband and I did enjoy this recipe but they were not the best ribs I've had. This recipe was a little too salty for our taste, and I would have preferred a slightly sweeter glaze. Although time consuming, the recipe was not difficult to make. These were tasty, but I think better recipes exist. Sorry AB!
