I have not tried this recipe. I would certainly not want to eat the dish she made on TV. A chef of any skill and experience, should know not to double dip while cooking. She did this not once, but twice in a single episode. To dip a clean spoon in for a taste is fine, but to then shake off the spoon over the pot -- gross.

After watching the episode today, just had to try Anne's delicious looking Pot Pie. I will say I improvised the filling as I did not have all her ingredients and was using a leftover rotisserrie chicken. However, the crust was a revelation! I am not usually successful with pie crusts, but this was super easy, & it turned out light and flakey. I definitely recommend using individual casseroles and letting the crust hang well down the sides, as this makes the edges super crispy. Mix it up and do any kind of filling you want - the crust is definitely King in ths recipe!

I found this episode unappealing. The first thing she did was handle the chicken with both hands. Then immediately dipped her contaminated chicken hand in the large bowl of salt and seasoned the chicken before wasing her hands. Then througout the episode she used the same container of salt to season the rest of everything on the episode. I don't thnk I would want to eat in her restaurant.

This is a wonderful variation to the pot pie. Anne is absolutely delightful to listen to. What a refreshing change in food network personalities.
