This pie is unreal. The best I've ever had. The crust is amazing with the cream cheese, giving it a creamy flavor similar to a fresh croissant. I highly recommend this!

This recipe is fantastic. I used boneless, skinless chicken thighs (much easier, and instead of butternut squash, I used sweet potatoes. And I also added some kale to the filling. DELISH!
P.S. I ended up with enough filling for four individual pies, one double-sized pie, and a little more that I had over rice for lunch at work one day. Good thing the pot pies freeze beautifully!

Great taste for fall .. BUT...I used fresh "haricots verts" (C'mon.. just say green beans... nobody at the supermarket knew what I was talking about. The 35 minutes in the oven was not enough to cook them and crunchy raw green beans ruined it. I had to bake it for another 30 minutes then it was OK.

This is the best pot pie recipe I have come across on Food Network. I have tried 3 others, and will try no more. Cooking the chicken in the stock was wonderful for the flavor. Was able to freeze the filling for 2 more for next time.

Anne is a great cook. I love both her and Rachel. this is a good recipe.
As far as double dipping....GIVE ME A BREAK. SHE ISN'T IN THE RESTAURANT. SHE IS IN HER HOME. I'M SURPRISED YOU ARE NOT YELLING THAT SHE DOESN'T HAVE GLOVES ON HANDLING THE FOOD.
Please I'm sure there are gloves and no double dipping at the restaurant. Leave her alone! A good cook is always tasting.

Double-Dipping aside (I agree with others, this potpie is very good. As a reminder...all ingredients should be prepped with approx the same size...cooking time. Thanks Anne. Annie, Fremont, CA.

Food was good but watching Anne Thursday (Sept.30 I just can't beleive what she did as another viewer said she double dipped with her tasting spoon, it really grossed me out. This is not the first time, I can't beleive the Foodnetwork doesn't say anything about this. This really gives me second thoughts about going out to eat Secrets of a Restaurant Chef. I really like Anne and I think she is a great cook.
