I love Ann's show and her receipes. However, something has got to be wrong with this one. I nearly burned my house down. 1/2 cup of rum is probably a lot more than you need. Most other recipes call for 1/4 cup for a much larger amount of dessert. Luckily my house and kitchen is still standing, but the taste is overwhelming with rum. Try 1/4 cup. It may work out better.

This was such an easy and elegant desert to make. I could maybe seeing this work with apples too they just may need to cook a little longer. Thank you Anne!

This dessert is so EASY and is such a hit with guests. I must say that it has more butter than I think it needs (for a 2 person serving as suggested here I used 2 tablespoons and it worked great, but so delicious!
