These were excellent. I made the cocoa too to dunk them in. I would have never thought I could make great beignets at home but this recipe gets it done. I added a touch of cinnamon to my powdered sugar. Excellent!

This was a great recipe! i made them as a dessert, and to take advantage of the fresh strawberries I picked this morning, I made a strawberry sauce to dip them in, it was delicious!!!!! This is definitely a new family favorite, and super easy to do

I love all of ann's shows, she is a terrific cheaf. The Beignets are out of this world !!!! My husband and friends love them with a glass of cold milk like they serve them in New Orleans.
Igive Ann 5stars, for this one.....

Looks good. And to the answer to shplayton_10185817. She rolled them out and cut into 5 sections and then cut the sections in 2" each. Try to roll out to close to a 1/2 sheet pan size. I hope this helps you.

Did not watch the show but want to make them. The recipe does not tell you how thick to roll the dough out before cutting them into squares. Can anyone tell me.

Mine came out a little doughy but tasty. I also made an orange glaze as a dipping sauce. Yum!
