I've never "Braised" before and this recipe was very well written and easy to understand. Everyone enjoyed it and we are sure to have it back again soon as a family favorite. Your, "ribs are rockin'" Anne! !

I never would have even tried short ribs until I saw your show. I couldn't wait to try ithis recipe on my friends. The meat was so tender and tasty. The sauce was out of this world. Everyone raved about it. This one is at the top of my favorites list.

I used crockpot for 8-10 hours and received rave reviews--guest said "restaurant quality". To solve any extra grease problem, I used paper towels to pat on top and absord any unwanted grease.

These were absolutely fantastic! Unlike other short rib recipes I've tried (including Tyler's, the sauce was thick and rich, with deep caramelized flavors. Often times the braising liquid in other recipes is thin and watery with a lack of flavor. Not these! I served it over Tyler's parsnip puree and it was a huge hit. Wonderfully satisfying, and perfect for colder weather.

Watched the show on this and HAD to make them! They turned out amazing and are much better the day after. I am a sucker for anything braised like this and this one hits it out of the park! I made it with Bobby Flay's toasted orzo recipe as well - very good indeed.

I have never made ribs like this before!! The meat fell from the bones and the meat is just delicious!! We love the sauce and I made mashed potatoes.
My husband and I had dinner with our grown children the other night and I told them about this receipe and now they want me to make the ribs for them!!!

Great recipe, although I'd cut down a little on the tomato paste. Anne Burrell has one of the best shows on the Food Network, She's so much fun to watch and her food is wonderful!
