amazing!! Wow, only thing I changed was using 6 oz of tomatoe paste. turned out really rich!!

I think the instructions need improving. I followed them exactly and found the sauce tasting "burnt." I may try this again with 1/2 the tomato paste and not cooking the paste as suggested. I will also add more water and cook a little bit slower, possibly 350 instead of 375.

If the meal makes my husband the "picky as a child" eater smile then it is good : He made sure the left overs were put away, so he could have more tomorrow =o

I got brave and tried this recipe , it was my first time ever cooking with wine, or ever braising like this, Anne's recipe was easy to follow, easy to find and affordable ingredients, and i must say, this is mighty tasty!!!! You rock Anne!!!!!

I'm sorry, but maybe there are people that like a lot of tomatos and those that do not. My family and I are the latter. I followed the recipe exactly but we just didn't like it.

What can I say. Anne is the best, as usual!! These are the very best short ribs. I didn't have any celery, but used some celery seed. I followed the recipe exactly except for the celery. They are a little extra work, but worth the time. Thanks for another great recipe Anne.
