Amazing turkey!! This will be my new traditional turkey recipe and my family loved it! I choose to stuff my turkey with our traditional herb stuffing and it had amazing flavor too. Thanks for providing our family with a new recipe!

OMG!!!! I have NEVER liked turkey, but this was awesome!!! It was so easy that I will never cook a turkey any other way. Like another reviewer, my bird was done in much less time than the recipe stated so it was done way ahead of time. No worries, I tented it and let it hang out until everything else was done. It had the best flavor and was so juicy. The only real problem I had was the drippings were very salty when I used them to make gravy. I had to thin it out with a lot of broth, but it was still great!

OH MS ANNE!! YOU ROCK!!! This turkey was absolutely incredible!! I didn't brine it but I did everything else. I use the herb butter and made the gravy. I always discarded the grease and use hot water to desolve the flour to put into the drippings. Using the grease and the flour makes a great thickening agent! I will never throw out the grease again :

17 min a pound is too long. Our turkey was cooked two hours before it should have been....glad we checked early.
Can't wait to taste it!!

Ok, turkey tastes great. But 17 minutes per pound is WAY to long. 21# turkey, should take 6.5 hours. Got up at 4:30 am and it is done at 7:30!!!!!!! Guests arrive at 12!
