When the call came in to do a turkey for our New Years party and I turned to Anne's recipe. It is so juicy and tasty. The prep was not that difficult and it only needed a little timing. So fast forward two years and the call comes again for Thanksgiving turkey and a whole new group and so where do I go but Anne's recipe. Thanks Anne, I love your program and your energy you put in each episode.

2011-This recipe is fantastic. It is a little work but well worth the effort. Moist and delicious. Stuffing was excellent. Everyone liked it and I will definitely make it again.
2012-I am making it again this year.... thanks Anne B!!

This is an awesome recipe! I made this for my first time hosting Thanksgiving dinner and it put my Mom's past Thanksgiving Day turkey's to shame! They were still talking about it at Christmas and Mom couldn't have been more proud : Thank you for making me into a Rock Star Anne!
Update - I did the above previous post last year and I am going to use this recipe again this year, by demand.....I can not wait!

I've made this recipe for 3 years in a row. Last year I didn't make it for Thanksgiving and didn't hear the end of it. I had to make it for Christmas to make up for it. It is hands down the best turkey recipe I've made and my whole family agrees. When you serve this turkey there is complete silence as everyone is munching down and too enthralled in how delicious this dish is. The instructions are easy, just follow it to a T. The gravy is amazing, and you will want the gravy everywhere on your plate!!! Use only fresh hearbs and an organic turkey, or one that has not been frozen. The turkey will melt in your mouth. Ann Burrell is the best - love her!!! Thank you for sharing this fantastic recipe which has become a staple in my house!!

I have made this recipe for three years in a row. The first year I made it it was so beautiful I didn't want to even slice it! It tasted just as good as it looked! My family will not let me try anything different and I don't want to! It is worth all the preparation.

INCREDIBLY juicy, perfectly browned crispy skin, and just lovely flavors throughout! I've been making Alton's turkey for a few years until I tried this last year... This recipe is a damn keeper! Will not be looking for another turkey recipe. THANKS ANNE!
