I made this for Easter dinner, and it was delicious! I only cooked the halibut for about 3 minutes, and it was perfect.

I made the fish last for my husband and me using cod instead of halibut. It was quite easy to prepare and cooks beautifully. However, both of us thought the flavor of the crust overwhelmed the fish. I'll definitely try it again, but maybe with canola rather than olive oil, or maybe with less herbs or substitute herbs. We couldn't pinpoint the strong flavor. The texture was excellent!

I made the fish for my family this week and it was absolutely delicious! I used cod instead because my grocery didn't have halibut. I also used a butter flavored instant mashed potato and I think it made it even tastier than if I had used a plain variety. My kids don't even like fish that much and they raved over it. I will definitely be making this again. Thanks Anne for such a wonderful recipe!

I actually used the potato crust mix to salmon, although, I added a tablespoon of freshly grated lemon zest to the potato flakes. After it finished baking, I added another tablespoon of lemon zest to unsalted melted butter and drizzled it over the salmon. My family loved it!

Instead of instant potato flakes, I think Panko bread crumbs would be a good substitute.

Very good however i need to find the potato flakes as most of the instant potatoe stuff is more like flour. However, it still tasted great and used a cheaper fish and today bought the halibut for Fridays meal. Thanks anne, love your show.

My husband and I love Anne's recipes as well as her show. This was so fast and easy. My husband said it was just like continuing our Napa weekend at home!

Very easy and cooked perfectly but it was SO dry and not a lot of taste. I would suggest squeezing lemon on the fish and using grey poupon as the binder for the potato mixture rather than the egg.
