I have baked these many times and everyone who tries them loves them. They are the best scones I have ever tasted and I have tried many recipes. I don't put in the cinnamon or lemon.

Terrific! I now use this recipe as a base for all my scones. I exterchange lemon zest for orange zest. I creat blueberry-lemon scones from this recipe, cinnamon-raison, cinnamon-pecan (my personal favorite} My gals rave over the results. Love it!! So easy!

What did I do wrong? It was a dry mess and would not form a dough. I pulled out a cookbook and using a scone recipe there added 2 eggs and 1/4 cup more cream but it was still too dry. I ended up throwing it away. I got the recipe from the show but don't remember how Anne made it. Anne recipes are always great and with other people here saying they turned out fine I can't understand where I went wrong.

Made the scones!! Used the cherries and they were awesome!! I also used a bisket cutter to make individual scones. Can't wait to give them to my friend who loves scones. Way easy!! Anne, love you and your show!!

These are the best. Very easy to make. I made blueberry and pecan scones. Check them out on my blog http://loveandpastry.blogspot.com/2010/10/blueberry-and-pecan-scones.html

Really enjoyed them. The butter is a perfect fit for these scones. Used cranberries instead of the cherries. Took them to the office and made new friends.

These were so good that I divided them up and took them to my very best friends - even my very picky best friend who reported back that both she and her husband thought they were the best they'd ever eaten. And I am definitely NOT a baker!

Thanks Anne, you're fabulous! You made me brave and very happy. I'm going to try your Swiss Chard Crostata next. ;-

Tgese scones are moist, tender and wonderful. They kept 3 days and warmed up just fine. They are really good.

Making the honey butter? The pits. The whipping cream splatters all over the place. The flavor was wonderful, and perfect for the scones, but the next time I make this I will soften a stick of butter, add the honey and orange zest and have MUCH less clean up!

I have never made scones before. Made these last week-end and they were a huge hit. DId not have cherries, so I used craisins. Also cut into 8 wedges, since I was feeding 8 people. This is going to be a regular part of week-end brunches. Oh, and the honey butter was outstanding as well.
